More than 1.5 million views to date across YouTube and Facebook. In September 2013 Give Media, through its passion project ‘a million smiles‘, produced this feature video on Dalai Lama, who we filmed at the ‘Beyond Religion’ conference in Adelaide. Combining his words with traditional Tibetan music and Buddhist footage we had taken in Myanmar and Cambodia, it wasn’t long before this video was being shared by some of the worlds largest online news organisations, including UpWorthy, Buzz Feed and ‘the best of YouTube’.
This video has had more hits than Dalai Lama videos published by Time Magazine, CNN and NBC. Why? Because we not only know how to produce great videos, we know how to get them seen on social media.
